About the event

  • Carry out fun, scientific experiments including:

   - The science of Slime

   - Plastic in the ocean

   - The science behind gases - let's make volcanos!

   - Microbiology - where do our germs come from?

  • This workship will be led by a team of scientists from Reading Scientific Services Ltd, including STEM abassadors ( Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). 
  • All equiment and protective clothing will be provided. 
  • Booking Essential
  • Fee - £12 per family (max 2 children per adult)

Due to funding restrictions this workshop is open to residents of RG1, RG2, RG4, RG6 and RG41 (excludes people who have already undertaken a family learning course at the Crescent Centre after 1st July 2019).
